Ingham County Animal Control is investigating a case of animal cruelty. Officers say two dogs were found dead in the area of Benjamin and Douglas roads in the city of Lansing. One was left in plain view and the other was later discovered during a search of the surrounding area.

Both dogs had numerous bites on their bodies, making officers suspect they were involved in a dog fighting ring. If you have information as to how these dogs died and who may be responsible, contact the Ingham County Animal Control.
