Des Moines police are still searching for the person who poisoned a pet dog. Several people have calledlocal news media to offer help to Josie Moorman, who owned the dog.

A 4-year-old chihuahua named Tasha died Dec 14.

Police said they believe someone intentionally laced a piece of turkey with rat poison and threw it in Moorman's back yard.

Authorities said Tasha ate it and that's what killed her.
