Two pit bulls have been taken out of the basement of a home on Woodland Ave. because of calls complaining that there is dog fighting going on there.

Dog Warden Tom Skeldon says one dog has bite marks on her legs and paws -- and fresh wounds on her neck. Officers have responded to two other dog fighting calls at the home and have seized 10 other dogs in the process.

"There's a long history here with this group that includes murders, convictions for dog fighting," Skeldon said. "So you've got gangs, drugs, dog fighting. They all go together."
