Cat stuffed into pillowcase, thrown out car window
Mattydale, NY (US)

Incident Date: Tuesday, Jan 31, 2006
County: Onondaga

Disposition: Alleged

Alleged: David Simmons

The Syracuse man who is accused of throwing a cat out a car window has been indicted by an Onondaga County Grand Jury.

26-year-old David Simmons of North Salina Street faces several animal cruelty charges.

Simmons was arrested in February, after he allegedly placed a cat in a pillowcase and threw it out his car window as he drove down Factory Avenue in Mattydale.

At the time of his arrest, Simmons told deputies he wanted to get rid of the cat because his girlfriend could no longer keep it at home.
